​BEHIND THE SCENES

Marshall Arisman (1938-2022) was a prolific American painter, illustrator, writer, and
educator based in New York City. The documentary was filmed at the SVA
Chelsea Gallery during his 45-year retrospective in 2017. Additional footage
was shot at his Manhattan studio in March of 2022.

Marshall Arisman was actively working on the documentary with director Nada Ray until April 2022.
