Marshall Arisman (1938-2022) was a prolific American painter, illustrator, writer, and educator based in New York City. The documentary was filmed at the SVA Chelsea Gallery during his 45-year retrospective in 2017. Additional footage was shot at his Manhattan studio in March of 2022.
